1988 Lamborghini Countach 25th
Facts
Description
The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is the last model of the Countach series and was built from 1988 to 1990. The Countach 25th is a jubilee model that was built to the 25th anniversary of the company Automobili Lamborghini, founded in 1963. The engine power wasn´t increased, but the body was changed by the design influence of Horacio Pagani. In addition to newly designed rear lights and the intermediate screens, sill panels with air inlets and a modified front spoiler with side air inlets were installed. In the 25th production, Lamborghini used for the first time many body parts of the super light composite material CFK-GFK, which was back on these days just used on racing cars.
This Motor Car
This Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary *KLA12429* was delivered on 29th June 1990 to Steve Curtis, a VIP customer and well-known Lamborghini speedboat racer from Great Britain. He was offshore powerboat racing world champion a total of eight times.
The interesting history of this vehicle begins even before it was delivered to its first owner.
Manufactured in rosso siviglia/champagne, it is the second 25th built after the prototype – the first production vehicle to be delivered to a customer. The vehicle is from the rare 1988 model year, which can be recognised by a few small details. The most striking feature is the different air outlets on the rear fenders. This is a detail that is only found on this particular model. At the time, this vehicle was used for the Lamborghini Countach 25th brochure, many of the factory photographs, and all the tests for journalists from car magazines. It was also used for the presentation at Lamborghini Day 1, on 8-10 September in Italy, where the Countach 25th was unveiled. It is probably the most photographed and best-known Countach 25th in existence. A truly special vehicle with a unique history.
This Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is presented in exceptional condition, retaining its original paintwork with only minimal signs of wear. The interior is completely original as well and remains in remarkably good condition. A particularly beautiful and rare highlight are the factory-optional sports bucket seats, which were installed by Lamborghini prior to delivery to the first owner.
With a remarkably low mileage of only 6,710 km, this car stands out as a true presentation vehicle with a special history. The engine, chassis, and gearbox numbers all match, further underlining its authenticity and collectible value.
The Countach comes in top condition overall and includes its original spare wheel as well as the unused on-board tools, making it an outstanding example for any discerning collector.

We act as an independent consultant, always on the side of the buyer or seller, and ensure that every decision is based on expert knowledge.
What kind of vehicles does Lemacc specialize in?
We focus on rare and classic sports cars with collector value, particularly models from brands such as Bugatti, Ferrari, Pagani, Porsche, but mainly vintage Lamborghinis.
Can Lemacc help me find a specific car?
Yes. Through our international network and archive, we can locate rare vehicles that are often not available on the open market. We also verify condition, pricing and provenance.
What does the consultation process include?
You receive a detailed assessment of the vehicle’s condition, value potential, and history. We also guide you through restoration decisions, price negotiation and market timing.
What is the commission for buying or selling a car through Lemacc?
The commission for buying or selling a vehicle through Lemacc is calculated as a percentage of the vehicle’s value and depends on the complexity of the transaction and the services required.
We provide full transparency upfront, so our clients are always informed about the fees before proceeding.
Why is originality so important in classic cars?
Original components and patina preserve the vehicle’s story and long-term value. Over-restored vehicles often lose historical authenticity and future appreciation potential.
